At A1 Dance we feel it's helpful for students to have memory joggers of each grade or class

to enhance their learning & allow for revision of previous work at any time, adding each grade

layer on layer to build a solid foundation.

Print or Download titles of the set exercises & theory required for each Grade.

Jargon buster for Classical Ballet: a list of French Terms & their English equivalent.

Jargon Buster for Stage Branch Tap: definitions of the relevant steps.
Also see A1 Dance Theory Cards, these include all required theory & additional knowledge.

The cards can be printed out to make a matching game for a fun way to learn the necessary theory.

Learning the correct names for steps & exercises in each grade or class is a vital part of a dancer's education.
The Memory Joggers help reinforce & increase dance vocabulary.

Work from a grade already passed should be saved & remembered for future use!
