It's that time of year again, the kids have broken up & you're heading off on holiday or for some great days out. For a bit of fun we have two competitions running over the summer for current A1 Dancers. See your emails or Social Media for details.

Tuesday 13th & Wednesday 14th - Dance Teachers Convention
Teaching staff attend this prestigious event for continued professional development. Very excited to hear that Adam Garcia will be teaching two of the Tap Modules :-)
Saturday 31st - Early Bird Enrolment Event
For New Students to Register for Classes & Meet the Teachers & Reception Team.
For Current A1 Dancers to try on uniform & order anything you need ready for the start of term. Meet & greet our new A1 Dancers as they Register.
(We might even have some games on the go; keep an eye on the Event on the A1 Dance Facebook Page for updates).
A1 Dance Parents Association AGM
11:30am-12:30pm – Any A1 Dance Parent is invited to attend, find out what the PA does for the children. Event planning, fundraising, parties etc. The agenda is still a work in progress but will include our Whole School Show & the Christmas Party.

Sunday 6th - Continued Professional Development
Teachers at the NATD's Autumn lecture & workshop day.
Students age 14yrs & over are invited to attend. Details TBC.

Will be scheduled from mid October on Friday’s late afternoon or early evening or Saturday’s.

The Nutcracker
Russian National Ballet performs The Nutcracker at The Brindley. Music by Tchaikovsky.
I’ve reserved seats for A1 Dancers at the 2:30pm performance, please contact me asap if you would like any of them. It would be lovely if we could go as a group.
The Ballet company have kindly given us a group deal on tickets.

Whole School Show - Postponed until March 2020 due to the venue cancelling.
All A1 Dancers are invited to take part even if you’re new this term.
Family Fun Get Together
As we've had to cancel the show the A1 Dance Parents Association are holding an A1 Family Get Together instead. More details to follow asap.

Saturday 14/12/19 – We break up for Christmas but first...
It’s the Christmas Party!
Fun, Games, Food & a Gift from Father Christmas in his Grotto. The Party is organised & run by our marvellous A1 Dance Parents Association & the Teachers.
Christmas Party is from 4:15-6:15pm more details nearer the time.

NATD Exam Session
Date TBC as we have to wait for Head Office to book an Examiner.
(We will confirm as soon as we can, keep an eye out for updates. See also March).
N.B. Due to having to postpone our November show until March we are less likely to have this exam session.

All A1 Dancers on the current register will receive a certificate
in recognition of their efforts & achievement. Our newest A1 Dancers
will receive a certificate of enrolment & those that took exams in
February / March will receive their Medals, Trophies & Awards.
This event really is for every one of our dancers.
